This is blog dedicated to Bassa server, an open source proxy enhancing software. Bassa is capable of scheduling downloads. Bassa will extend your traditional proxy cache to a fully browsable, searchable cache. And it can share downloaded content among users effortlessly. Bassa also has a content description facility so multimedia content is viewable on site (users can view them without downloading it to their computers). Bassa enhances performance of low bandwidth networks.
